Pamoja Mental Health & Safeguarding Network was founded to address the urgent need for mental wellbeing and safeguarding support.
We help communities integrate into new societies and reintegrate back into society having lived abroad.
The vision for Pamoja was inspired by lived experience.
Faith was born in Kenya, where her early education laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to resilience, cultural identity, and community.
With over seven years of experience within the UK's NHS mental health services, Faith has worked across inpatient units, community mental health teams, safeguarding services, and therapeutic environments.
Faith holds a Master of Arts in Safeguarding Adults: Law, Policy and Practice, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc), and an Advanced Diploma in Counselling.
Her work is deeply personal and shaped by lived experiences of bereavement, migration, and domestic abuse.
At the heart of her work is a simple but powerful belief: "Never give up."
To build a society that values mental wellbeing and safeguarding practice.
To empower individuals and organisations with the skills and confidence to promote mental well-being.
Acting with honesty, transparency, and accountability.
Valuing each person’s uniqueness and treating all with compassion.
Ensuring safety, care, and safeguarding for all individuals.
Building inclusive communities that foster belonging.
Supporting people to build resilience and take ownership.
Listening deeply and responding with understanding and kindness.
