FOUNDER OF PAMOJA

Faith Henton is the Founder of Pamoja Mental Health & Safeguarding Network and a passionate advocate for mental health, safeguarding, and inclusion. With over seven years of experience in the NHS, Faith currently works as a Mental Health Community Nurse, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs in a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and person-centred way.

Her qualifications include a Master of Arts in Safeguarding Adults: Law, Policy & Practice, a BSc in Nursing, and an Advanced Diploma in Counselling. She is a graduate of the Developing Aspirant Ethnic Minority Nursing & Midwifery Leaders Programme and the Mary Seacole NHS Leadership Programme, where she strengthened her leadership in mental health and social care.

Faith’s passion is deeply rooted in her personal journey. Having overcome bereavement, migration, and domestic abuse, she brings lived experience, empathy, and resilience to everything she does. Her early volunteer work with Devon Rape Crisis and Stop Abuse for Everyone laid the foundation for her lifelong mission: to help individuals reclaim their voice, build emotional resilience, and live with dignity.Through Pamoja, Faith combines her clinical expertise with her personal story to break the stigma around mental health and promote safeguarding practices that are inclusive, trauma-informed, and rooted in respect.Her motto? "Never give up." And she’s helping others believe that too.
